Junior Prom-read all of it to understand the pictures

First of all it was a beyond crazy Saturday. The kind were you disapointly have to wake up early. Why? I had to go to the dentist. in kenosha. an hour away. But none the less it was over quickly and after an hour of sitting, i went to go get my hair done. I had to pick up my dress at 1:00 and it was like 10 after noon when me and my mother left. Thankfully we didnt get pulled over (though my freaking out didnt help, but hey i wasnt done with makeup, didnt have a dress or my post prom stuff ready even to go for pictures @ 2!).
We were late for those pictures which turned out okay, my date was even later because he couldnt find his keys. We took probably 100 pictures at Melanie's house.

THEN we went to Kevin's house to take even more pictures
. Finally we left for Grand March which eeek. that line was LONG i thought it would never end.

Same with the bus ride to Milwaukee Zoo. Yes. we had prom at the Peck Welcoming Center at the Zoo (also the Primate area). We got there, spotted a table and as soon as that happened, the lines for food stretched all around. For one plate of pasta, it took forever. good thing i wasnt that hungary. Um the usual dance thing happened then, dancing, "ahh its so hot now lets get something to drink." and dancing and singing, annoucing of court and king and queen. more of that. Then the cold, windy walk to the post prom buses. eeeekkk cold. changing in a tiny room with girls with HUGE dresses wasnt that thrilling either. Mainly we were happy to be in jeans and normal shoes.

We only stayed until 1:30 but it took until 2 for us to get onto a bus BACK to the HS. Which was fine. We were all going to Kyles anyways. And because of my lack of sleep at the moment: i do not remember that part, we were all kinda dead, even the kids that didnt go to prom crashed HARD. I got home 8ish and am trying to ignore my drooping eyelids. fun fun night
